Naturally Unimpressed

Girls are naturally complainy and always want what they can’t have. I can only say this because I am a girl. And I know that it is true.

Take for example, the height of a girl. If a girl is short, she wants to be average height or taller. If she is tall, she wants to be average or tall. If she is average, she wants to be taller or shorter. That is why high heels have beenĀ  are all the rage for a while. Girls are never satisfied with their looks or anything because they are bombarded with pictures of beautiful women in magazines and on TV.

If you are a girl, or you know a girl, you know that they are never satisfied with their hair. If it is straight, they want it curly. If it is curly, they want it straight. Same goes for thick and thin and coarse and fine. There are pros and cons to every kind of hair basically. The only thing that women tend to like is the color of their hair…once they dye it. This all goes back to women wanting what they can’t have. If they can’t have red hair, they will dye it red, and then they will decide that it actually doesn’t look that great on them, and they’ll try a new color. Or if they’re lucky they’ll go back to normal hair colors.

I have this syndrome just like 95% of women in America. I have straight hair and I think that I can have curly hair with the help of curly hair shampoo and other curly hair products. I figure, if I use these natural hair care products than it will bring my hair back to its normal state — curly.

I also delusionally think that if I shaved my hair, it would grow out blond and curly, thick and coarse, big and beautiful. Unfortunately, my hair is straight, blond and fine. But that does not deter me from using natural hair care products to try and delude myself into thinking my hair is how I want it. In reality though, I’m pretty sure every girl is especially vain of her own hair and thus likes to complain about it in order to get compliments about the greatness of her own hair. This actually happens.

Let me explain. I will use an actual scenario as an example:

“I hate how straight my hair is. I wish it was curly like yours!”

“No! Are you kidding me? I have always envied your hair, I am so sick of my curly hair! Seriously, never do anything to your hair, or I will kill you.”

“Really? I have always envied YOUR hair!”

Both of these girls are lying. I promise. They each say what they know the other wants to hear, thinking that they are fooling each other, but in reality they are fooling no one. Girls just like to hear that their hair is better than other girls’.
