It’s party time! Yes, it’s that time of year when everyone, well almost everyone is getting in the mood for a party. There are office parties, Christmas parties, home parties, Superbowl parties and the list goes on and on. Don’t you just love it! One thing I know about party season is that I’m going to have a lot of fun changing up my look every time I go out. I’ve found the quickest and easiest way to do that is by changing my eye makeup. Here are a couple of Party Eye Makeup Ideas I’ve used with great success.
Angel Eyes Makeup
Want to look natural and angelic at your next party? Try on this look. Not only will you look like an angel you can pull off a little ‘devil inside’ by adding a bit of sex appeal. The key is to keep it simple.
- Start with a matte mineral foundation. The goal is a flawless base to work with.
- Use a quality concealer to hide any imperfections.
- Red Blush on the cheeks for a rosy, dreamy look.
- Eye Makeup
- Flesh eyeshadow on upper eyelids.
- Now add a light tone eyeshadow.
- Finish with a thin line of eye pencil on upper eyelids.
- Optional – add sparkling mascara.
Cats Eyes Makeup
It really doesn’t matter what time of year your party is for this lok to work. However, winter is particularly effective as a cat moves indoors they become more cuddly but still a hunter at heart.
- apply under eye concealer (liquid or powder)
- using a sharp eyeliner dot along the root of your eyelashes from the corner to the outer line of your eye and then fill it up. When you get close to the outer corner slant the line upward. If you want a natural look make the line thinner. For a dramatic look keep it fatter.
- Use a brush and apply a dark eyeshadow. Gently blend the edges of your eyeshadow and the eyeliner.
- Use an eyebrow pencil to highlight the natural curve of your eyebrow.
- Apply 2 to 3 coats of mascara on your upper and lower eyelashes as the finishing touch.
